New Eyes Receives $25,000 Impact Grant from the Delta Gamma Foundation!
We are pleased to announce that New Eyes has been selected to receive a $25,000 Impact Grant from the Delta Gamma Foundation as part of their 2026 Service for Sight grant cycle — one of the largest awards granted this year.
The Delta Gamma Foundation Board of Trustees, upon recommendation from their Service for Sight Grants Committee, designated this award as an Impact Grant — a distinction reserved for a select number of organizations whose proposed programs demonstrate the strongest alignment with the Foundation's goal of creating transformational change in vision-related resources and research. We are honored to be among this year's recipients.
The $25,000 award will support New Eyes Across America 2026 program, providing 1,000 new prescription eyeglasses to children and adults across the United States who lack the financial means to obtain them. Prescription eyewear is not a luxury — it is a necessity that affects a person's ability to learn, work and participate fully in daily life. This grant will allow us to extend that access to more individuals and families who need it most.
Founded on a mission to foster lifetime enrichment and promote Service for Sight, the Delta Gamma Foundation has long been a dedicated supporter of organizations working to improve the lives of individuals living with blindness or visual impairment. Their investment in New Eyes reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that financial barriers do not stand between people and the vision care they deserve.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Delta Gamma Foundation for this generous award and for their continued partnership in our mission. With this support, we look forward to reaching more individuals across the country and delivering meaningful, measurable impact through New Eyes Across America 2026.
